What is MAGiS?

MAGiS - or Ignatian - spirituality is based on the spirituality of Iñigo Lopez de Loyola, later known as Saint Ignatius of Loyola. MAGiS spirituality offers us a way to deepen our desire and commitment to help others, especially those in more urgent need and less hope of help.

The resources on the left-hand panel will assist you as you explore and grow in MAGiS Spirituality and Formation.

MAGiS Prayer

God of Life,

as MAGiS pilgrims to World Youth Day,
we gather under the sign of the Southern Cross
and turn to you in prayer.

Give us generous hearts,
open to the graces with which you wish to bless us:
  the grace of joyful companionship with one another and with Jesus;
  the grace of deep spirituality,
    'to grasp how wide and long,
    how high and deep is the love of Christ';
  the grace of loving service
    in which you call us to give 'more' of ourselves.

We ask this in the name of Jesus the Lord.

Amen.
